Supporters’ Trust membership is recognised by many, as one of the best ways to show your support of the club that you love. Exeter City Football Club is a club like no other, and is owned by its fans and members of the Trust.
With the recent successes of our football club in the last few years, Trust membership is growing, and with well over 3,000 members now a part of the Supporters’ Trust we are proud of our achievements to date. We are also particularly pleased with the support that we have attracted from high profile individuals and celebrities, details of which are below:
The Exeter City Supporters’ Trust was delighted to welcome into its ranks, former City favourite and local businessman Bertie Cozic. Bertie, recently retired from professional football to concentrate his efforts on his business.
International soul singer Joss Stone backs City’s Trust
Due to the surge in interest because of the Liverpool Capital One Cup match in 2010 there were plenty of new Trust members signing up, including local singer/songwriter Joss Stone.
Joss was able to attend the game because her father is a Trust member.
As you can see, she signed up on the pitch at half time against Liverpool in front of the Sky Sports cameras and was joined by General Manager Jay Milling and Grecian The Lion!
Ade Edmondson proud to support the Trust
City fan and TV actor, Adrian has been an avid City fan since he moved to the region some years ago and was one of the first high profile supporters to join the Trust.
Few have gained the admiration and adoration of the City faithful more so than the Grecian’s prodigal son – Dean Moxey. Moxey, affectionately nicknamed ‘Deano’ is the embodiment of what our club is all about, and has earned the respect of football fans up and down the country for his work ethic, dedication and trusty left foot.
Deano has always been a huge Exeter City fan, and rates one of his proudest achievements as captaining his boyhood team. The Supporters’ Trust is delighted to count Dean Moxey as one of our own, and we are particularly pleased to announce that such is the high regard Deano hold our club in, that he has now joined the Supporters’ Trust.
City manager Paul Tisdale gives his backing to the Supporters’ Trust
Popular City Manager, Paul Tisdale, joined the Trust a few seasons ago as part of the Grecian 3k initiative, aimed at taking the number of Trust members beyond the 3,000 mark at that time.
Hoosiers Drummer Alan Sharland joins the Trust
Alan Sharland, drummer with The Hoosiers, joined the Supporters’ Trust back in 2008, shortly before jetting off to Japan with other members of the group on tour.
Alan was born in Exeter and moved to Reading when he was young. His mother lives at Exmouth, and the musician avidly follows the Grecians
