ECFC Match Day Ambassadors Need Your Help

The ECFC Match Day Ambassadors

The ECFC Match Day Ambassadors

Established five years ago, the last two seasons have seen the ECFC match day Ambassadors playing an increasingly rewarding and significant contribution on match days. Barely a match goes by without some kind of written recognition being received by email or letter.

And so, the time has come to build on their ranks to keep the momentum going and us moving in the right direction. Our Ambassadors do a fantastic job outside the stadium, welcoming everyone from new families and fans to travelling supporters and our own, more seasoned supporters.

We now need to start engaging more and more with fans inside the stadium. If you can spare 50 minutes as a volunteer to be a match day Ambassador before kick-off at future matches, helping us with good customer service and being the key contact inside the ground, please contact customerservices@ecfc.co.uk

We also have one really special role we’d like to recruit to, namely staffing our Information Post. Whilst full training will be given, we would really like to develop a pool of outgoing people who know their way around SJP and can answer queries directing people to the Trust stall, ticket collection points and contacting our staff when necessary. Located in the Information Point in Red Square, it would also be nice if they could take on an extra role of selling programmes from recent away games and perhaps 50/50 tickets to boost the jackpot or match day programmes. This would be a ‘nice to have activity’ in addition to the core role of being the match day source of Information.  If you are interested in this role, please email us at customerservices@ecfc.co.uk

We hope you can help us build on the good foundations that have been established by our existing Ambassadors and take our supporter assistance on match days to the next level.

This is an opportunity where it is a case of not so much helping the Club and Trust but helping our supporters new and existing.
