Trust Continues to Support Exeter City Ladies

As a sign of our continuing support in all areas of our football club, the Trust Board has decided to commit to 3 more years sponsorship of 3 players from the Exeter City Ladies team, which will help give the girls some stability over the coming seasons.

We were, once again, approached by Helen Kukor of the Ladies team, requesting sponsorship for the coming season. Following the departure of 2 of the players the Trust have sponsored over that past two seasons, Helen introduced Vic Barter and Leah Brooks as candidates for this year.

Vic is from Exeter and has been playing football for 13 years. Previously playing for Yeovil, Plymouth and Newquay ladies, she is now in her 3rd season with Exeter.

Vic said that she is “very grateful for the support and generosity of the Trust as they have made funds available that will help me and the team progress this season. Not only have they helped fund sponsorship, they have also attended home games and given us their support on match days too”.

Leah Brooks

Leah Brooks is from Brixham and has been playing for 20 years. She played for Brixham Belles as a child before progressing to Plymouth, where she played for 13 years. Leah is in her 4th season with City.

The money will enable Leah to make the journey from Brixham to Exeter, three times a week for training and provide training and warm-up kit.

Exeter City Ladies play their home games at St Martins, Exminster. Check their page on Facebook: www.facebook.com/pages/Exeter-City-Ladies-FC.

We wish the entire team the best of luck for the season ahead.
