Director For the Day Prize Winners

The Director for the Day prize continues to prove extremely popular.

For every home match, the Supporters’ Trust holds a draw from its membership, with the winner getting the opportunity of watching that match exclusively from the comfort of the club’s directors box.

Recent winners have included:

AFC Wimbledon match

dfdwimbledon

Geoff Searle who attended the match with his cousin Mike Salter.

Geoff said “Just wanted to thank you again for the  hospitality you gave Mike and I yesterday as ‘Director for the Day’. We really enjoyed ourselves and got a good result into the bargain as well!

As a Trust member for a number of years but not having had any direct contact with the day-to-day workings of the trust, it was a real pleasure to meet Laurence, Martin and Paul and to know that the Trust is being run by genuinely honest, enthusiastic and friendly guys.

I think it is an excellent thing to do to give ordinary Trust members like me the chance to meet you and find out more about the Trust through the personal interaction, as well as the day being a nice treat! We were well looked after and everyone in the Directors’ Box was welcoming and friemmmndly.”

Stevenage match

dfdstevenagePeter Dyer who attended the match with his son Louie.

Peter told us “‘Louie and I would like to thank you for a wonderful evening on Tuesday. The result wasn’t perfect but, given the opposition and our performance, 1 point was not a bad outcome. We were really looked after from start to finish and the whole experience was memorable.

The effort that you and the other senior members of the Trust put in for the City is really appreciated by us members in the ‘ranks’.

Thanks again and keep up the good work.”
